Here are some answers.

Yes. I accept most major insurance plans for clients located in New Jersey including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare. If you are not sure about your coverage just reach out and I am happy to help you figure it out before we even schedule anything.

All of my sessions are conducted via secure virtual visits which means you can connect from anywhere in New Jersey. No commute and no waiting room. Most clients find that virtual therapy works just as well as in person and is a lot easier to fit into a real life.

EFT is one of the most well researched approaches to couples therapy. It works by helping partners identify the negative cycle they keep getting stuck in and understand the deeper emotional needs driving it. The goal is not just to fight less. It is to feel genuinely close and secure with each other again. Most couples begin to feel a real shift within 8 to 20 sessions.
How do I know if I need couples therapy? You do not have to be in a crisis. If you are having the same argument over and over, feeling emotionally distant from your partner, or just noticing that something has shifted between you, those are all good reasons to reach out. The couples who get the most out of therapy are often the ones who come in before things get really bad.

Yes, and not just survive. In my experience as a couples therapist in New Jersey I have seen couples rebuild something real and strong after infidelity. It is not quick and it does not follow a neat timeline but it is very possible with the right support.

It depends on where you are starting from and what you are working on. Many couples begin to feel a meaningful shift within 8 to 12 sessions. More complex situations like recovering from infidelity or years of disconnection may take longer. I will always be honest with you about where we are in the process.

Most sessions include both partners but there are times when I meet with each person individually as part of the EFT process. You do not need to commit to anything in advance. We figure it out together as we go.
-
In our first session we get to know each other and I start to understand what brought you in and what you are hoping for. From there we identify the patterns that are keeping you stuck and begin to work on what is underneath them. It is not advice giving. It is helping both of you understand what each of you actually needs and creating enough safety to say it.
-
Before we even schedule a full session I offer a free 15 minute consultation so we can make sure it feels like the right fit. The first full session is 50 minutes. There is no pressure to share everything at once. We go at your pace.
